Started his Martial Arts career on 13th July, 1963 in Trinidad and Tobago
Has travelled around the world continuously to further develop himself as a Martial Artist
Grandmaster Christopher Francis was awarded his Black Belt in the art of Karate & Ju- jitsu on 11th November 1970.
At present, he carries the rank of 10 dan Black Belt, Hanshi and is the founder of the Kana Jui jitsu ryu system. Also serves as Worldwide Ambassador of Goodwill.
He has dominated the Martial Arts arena both locally and regionally and went on to international success as an International and World Champion
Founded the Black Hawks Martial Arts Management Network Association in 1979
The Inter-School Martial Arts Youth Training Programme which is now accepted as a part of the Curriculum under physical education for the Caribbean Secondary Examinations Council (CSEC). This was founded in 1993
The Pan Caribbean International Martial Arts Championship Games was founded in 2005 and was created to bring prestige and bragging rights to students who participate within the Caribbean, also attracting international participants. This is also responsible for bringing International Grandmasters and Movie Personalities to the country to teach and lecture to students which provides motivation to them as aspiring Martial Artists.
The Caribbean Martial Arts Alliance was founded in 2007 to unite the Martial Arts fraternity throughout the Caribbean which brings respect and comradery to all Martial Arts schools and recognition from governments across the Caribbean.
The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Martial Arts Federation (TTUMAF) was founded in 2011 to unite the numerous Martial Arts institutions in Trinidad and Tobago which will spread the knowledge and discipline of Martial Arts throughout the Nation.
